A fair offer.
A clear exit.

The service

Fat Cat provides hosted cancellation conversations and approved subscription changes. Merchants define the limits; customers choose whether to accept an option or continue cancelling. Fat Cat does not guarantee that a customer will stay or that a recommendation will increase revenue.

Customer choice

Cancellation remains accessible throughout the flow. A billing change requires confirmation of the displayed terms. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the current billing period. Existing unpaid invoices are not forgiven automatically.

Sandbox first

The current pilot defaults to Stripe sandbox subscriptions. Live billing requires separate deployment configuration and merchant activation. Test-mode actions do not charge a live card. Merchants remain responsible for their product access, billing permissions, customer support and cancellation obligations.

Offers and measurement

Payment-collection pauses keep access available and void new invoices during the pause; earlier invoices remain due. Temporary discounts expire. A customer accepting an offer is not yet a verified save. Fat Cat checks paid continuation and refunds or disputes before reporting a verified outcome.

Fees

Save fee pricing is 20% of the next successful invoice after a cancellation intent and accepted offer, once only. If the customer cancels or the invoice is refunded or disputed, the save fee is zero. Embed, AI and Shopify connections are free. There is no monthly plan or per-subscriber charge. Pilot fee collection remains off until a separate merchant payment authorization and supported fee collector are active. No retroactive pilot fees.

Before live use

Live customer use requires completed provider verification, operator support and privacy arrangements, and commercial terms. The pilot should be tested with sandbox data first.
